Prayer at the
flagpole
Come join
us by the flagpole at 12 pm to pray for our campus and world
(everyday!)—We’ll begin at 12 sharp in case of any 12:10 lectures.
May 9th We
will be heading over to San Franciso for an opportunity ot help and
serve the homeless people there. So far Night Strike is tentative
as to whether it will happen or not. This is because so far no
one has volunteered to drive, so if you guys know of anyone who would
be willing to let us borrow their car or would like to come and can
drive just let me know. Ali Mckenna will keep you guys posted as to
whether this is going to happen or not. But if it does happen, we
will be meeting in the Tercero Parking lot this Friday at 6, we have to
bring 7 dollars to donate to the city team ministries, and gas money to
help with the toll and gas money. Make sure to dress warm because it
gets super cold when you get into San Francisco.
Summer
Projects By
now, you've probably heard about Summer Projects. But maybe you thought
that it's too late to consider a project because there was some sort of
deadline last week.
Don't be fooled by the deadlines. The
deadlines are only dates that determine when you'll hear back about
your acceptance. You can still apply for projects. However, as time
goes on, some projects become full and no longer are available to you
as an option.
There are lots of great reasons to go on a
project. For now, please pray about it and consider whether it is
something the Lord might want you to do. You'll hear more about
projects in the coming weeks, but feel free to e-mail me if you have
any questions.
